A research betboom submitted byDr. Lanier Holt, associate professor, andMatthew Sweitzer, PhD, on the Black Lives Matter movement was betboom for the International Society of Self and Identity’s Best Paper Award of 2020.

Holt and Sweitzer’s work, “More than a black and white issue: ethnic identity, social dominance orientation, and support for the black betboom matter movement,” currently has 1,500 views. Their research is the first paper on race to receive this distinction.
